Easter Refuse, Recycling and Transfer Station Arrangements
Due to Easter, for week commencing 9th April, Councils domestic and commercial refuse and recycling collections will run one day later than usual.
Normal refuse and recycling collections will resume on Monday 16th April.
Household refuse must:
- Not exceed two bags per household, be normal sized, securely tied and not exceed 60 litres in size or 15kg.
- Be left at the kerbside boundary of the property by 8am on collection day and not contain garden waste or be full of bottles.
Council transfer stations will remain closed on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.
Glass bottles and jars, paper, cardboard, plastic, food and drink cans, scrap metal, white goods, plasterboard, e-waste, televisions, car batteries, untreated timber, paint, empty gas bottles and green waste can all be recycled through the transfer stations.
