E-waste Recycling at Hurunui Council Transfer Stations
E-waste and TV's can be accepted for recycling at all council transfer stations.
E-waste needs to remain separate from other waste or recycling being brought into the transfer station. Upon arrival, please speak to the staff member on site. They will be able to advise regarding the charging structure and where to place the e-waste.
TV's or monitors with broken screens can not be accepted for recycling – so please handle these items with care.
Toners and drums need to be removed from printers, fax machines and photocopiers.
At the moment only rechargeable batteries can be accepted for recycling.
