Road resealing
Residents and visitors need to watch out for roadworks in the Hurunui over the next four months.
Our annual programme of resealing began on November 15th 2010.
The works are district wide and are due for completion by the 30th of March, 2011.
Some roads MAY BE CLOSED for short periods of time (up to 10 minutes) while the works are being carried out, but every effort is made to minimise any disruptions.
Road users should also be aware recently resealed roads may have unbound chip on their surface and ALL CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN when driving through treated areas and speed restrictions strictly observed.
Please remember road signs are there for a reason and limit your speed accordingly or follow the instructions of the work crews.
